We have all been anxious, irritable, or depressed. But there are always ways to improve your mood. One of them from food, some foods that affect your feelings directly after consumption.

Fish Oil
Omega-3 fatty acids found in fish oil and known good for the heart, brain  and mood. A study by the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine found that participants who had lower levels of omega-3 fatty acids in the blood tends to depression and has a negative perspective.

Chocolate
Many people trying to overcome a bad mood by eating chocolate. It's not a bad thing. Research shows that chocolate contains many chemicals that can overcome feelings of sadness, in which magnesium who can cause feelings of relaxation, anandamide which can lead to calming and phenylethylamine which can make you feel happy.

To get more benefits from chocolate, try eating chocolate dipped into strawberry jam. Because, not only strawberries are good sources of vitamin C and produces endorphins, strawberries also contain flavonoids which good for improving mood.

Marmite
Vitamin B can help to treat your feelings, if you feel anxious, stressed, or depressed.  Vitamins B play an important role in normal brain function and produce serotonin which improves mood. In particular, vitamin B12 and B6 is useful to set the mood. Try eating marmite that contains vitamin B and is suitable for vegans and vegetarians.

Bananas
Bananas are a good source of tryptophan, an essential amino acid which can increase the level of serotonin that helps to regulate your mood. Bananas are also rich in magnesium which helps you to relax and vitamin B6 which helps to overcome depression.

Nuts
Walnuts or nuts are a great food to improve mood due to a combination from omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin B, and tryptophan. Bean is good as a source of folic acid (vitamin B9) that can reduce depression.
